Adolfo Barabino is an Italian classical pianist whose career spans Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the Americas. Renowned for his refined touch, exceptional tonal colour, and poetic musicality, he is particularly acclaimed for his interpretations of the works of Fr茅d茅ric Chopin, earning recognition as one of the distinguished Chopin interpreters of his generation.

Born in Genoa, Barabino showed an extraordinary musical aptitude from an early age, learning to play by ear before beginning formal studies with Emilio Bonino, who remained his only teacher. He made his concert debut as a teenager and quickly gained international recognition after winning the European Selection Winners & Masters in Munich, launching a career that has taken him to major concert halls and festivals around the world.

His performances have included appearances at London's Wigmore Hall, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Hamarikyu Asahi Hall, Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, and Teatro Municipal de Lima. Japan has become a second artistic home, where he has completed numerous concert tours and built a devoted following.

A Steinway Artist since 2003, Barabino has performed with leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. His recording of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the London Symphony Orchestra received a Grammy Award nomination, and he has recorded extensively for BBC Radio, Classic FM, and broadcasters throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He is currently recording the complete piano works of Fr茅d茅ric Chopin.

Alongside his international performing career, Barabino is an active teacher, masterclass presenter, and competition juror. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Sant'Apollinare International Piano Festival in Liguria, where he continues to promote artistic excellence while pursuing an international concert schedule.
