New annual Sustainability Report unveils ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s achievements and commitments
The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s Annual Sustainability Report (2023-2024) highlights its continued drive to reduce carbon emissions and embed sustainability.
The report reflects on ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s success in the THE impact ranking, placing in the top 5% of universities globally. The ranking measures institutions against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and emphasises ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s commitment to delivering all 17 goals.
Along with ranking success, the report details the University’s continued drive to reach net zero carbon. The University has made significant progress against its 8-point plan, reducing scope 1 & 2 emissions by 19% in comparison to the baseline year.

Other key highlights include work to embed sustainability into the University’s 8 policies, as well as significant development of staff and student sustainability engagement – including the launch of the University’s very first Sustainability Awards.
