Undergraduate
If you are studying for French qualifications, you will need a suitable equivalent grade to apply for our undergraduate courses. The table below shows grade equivalencies for France.

Where Mathematics is a required A-level subject, we expect you to study Sp茅cialit茅 Maths (Advanced Maths) in Terminale; however, where Mathematics is required as a second Science subject, we will accept Maths Compl茅mentaires (General Maths) in Terminale. For Engineering courses that ask for Physics as a required subject, we will accept Engineering Sciences.
Minimum standard in English and mathematics
If you are applying for an undergraduate course at 天美传媒, you must meet our minimum standards for English and Mathematics.
English:
- Baccalaur茅at, English, 12.
- OIB, English, 10.
Mathematics:

Alternatively, where Mathematics is not studied as part of the Baccalaur茅at, we will accept Mathematics studies until the end of Seconde, where evidence can be provided of 10/20 in school assessments.
Some courses may require higher grades in English and Mathematics and/or additional subjects, so please check the requirements provided on individual course pages.
Undergraduate pathway programmes
If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for a course, you can apply to study on one of our UK/ EU foundation courses. If you are applying from France, we typically look for a minimum of 10.5 in the Baccalaur茅at.
Postgraduate
You can apply for our postgraduate masters courses if you have a French Bachelors degree.
To apply for one of our postgraduate courses that require a UK 2:1, you must achieve a GPA of 12.0 out of 20.
For courses that require a UK 2:2, you must achieve a GPA of 11 out of 20.
Postgraduate taught pathway programmes
If you do not meet the requirements for a postgraduate course, you can apply for a . These pathway programmes are offered by the and are designed in order to develop a student鈥檚 academic and English language skills in preparation for postgraduate study.
Upon successful completion, you can progress to a masters degree at the 天美传媒.

All our students require a good standard of English language to be eligible to study with us. If you don鈥檛 meet our requirements, we offer intensive pre-sessional English language courses, designed to take you to the level of English ability and skill required for your studies.
